Mike and Donna are both   certified Realtors, which is a National Association of Realtors designation earned by completing a comprehensive real estate internet technology course and exam.  

Mike has lived in the Saugatuck area all of his life.  His family was originally from Grand Haven, and his grandparents moved to Saugatuck.  Mike and his dad were in the commercial fishing business until it was no longer profitable, then they started a sport fishing charter service.  Mike was the owner and captain of the Cant Miss (Lake Michigan charter fishing boat) for 25 years.  He sold the business and became the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for a local fishing tackle retailer, specializing in internet sales.  During that time, a friend suggested he think about becoming a realtor.  Mike checked into it, completed the required classes, earned the license, and started a new career.  His sales experience, network of clients and friends, attention to detail, and hard work have resulted in a successful real estate business.

Goldie (pictured with Mike) is a golden retreiver we have had since she was a puppy.  She is Mike's best buddy, and a bit spoiled.  We also have Bandit (Goldie's son with a black lab) and Buddy, a 125 pound male golden that Donna rescued from a neglectful home in Nashville, TN. 

Donna was born and raised in the western suburbs of Chicago (Lombard, Westchester).  Her family vacationed in Saugatuck for years, and her parents bought their first cottage (which was a real log cabin on Silver Lake), when Donna was in college.  Donna moved to Saugatuck in the late 1970's.  She worked for the local Sewer and Water Authority for 10 years, and the City of Saugatuck for 10 years.  She acquired many skills during those 20 years that are valuable in real estate practice, including; customer service, property taxes, zoning, accounting, interaction with local municipal and county departments, and extensive computer skills.     

Working together, we are able to provide our clients unbeatable service.  One of us will always be available to respond to your needs.  The nature of the real estate business in our area necessitates that we work and be available up to 16 hours a day, 7 days a week, including Sundays and holidays.  Many of our buyers are only here on weekends and holidays, so that's when we show them property.  Sellers also realize that due to our area being such a popular vacation destination, many of their showings will be on weekends and holidays.
